From Nanaimo travel North on the island highway to Port Alberni (1hr), follow the road signs to Bamfield, on a 90km well maintained logging road (1 hr 45 min). Tip: follow power poles.

From Victoria travel North on the island highway to Duncan (1 hr), travel East to Lake Cowichan following the road signs to Bamfield (2.5 hrs) on a 120 km well maintained logging road. Tip: follow the power poles.
